This thing has the best color combo I’ve ever seen. I love the center fog lights, and Mach 1 style wheels too, they might be New Edge Mach 1 wheels idk.Oh and its a Mustang with no fake scoops!
So the exterior is great but the interior what I really care about.

Not bad! That interior is really nice too!

Ditch the spoiler and add the 5.0 and that’d be just about the best S197

Pre-facelift S197s are one of the most honest muscle car designs ever, along with the Challenger. No obnoxious overwrought crease-filled designs with fake scoops and vents and crap, just an extremely minimal musclecar design. Or, as simpletons seem to like calling it, “boring”.

I was like “okayyyyy” then I got to the interior photos and was like “daaaaaaaaaaaamn”

I still think one of these would be a damn great buy.

Yes but unfortunately they usually end up looking like this, all the scoops...Kinja still isn’t letting me put pics in comments,

That interior really pulls the car together for me. Well done!

What’s the color code on this? It’s not Windveil Blue and for the life of me I can’t think of a turquoise that Ford had for the Mustang after 2003.

Not a huge fan of the pre-facelift S-197s (but they were a huge improvement from the SN-95s), but I love that interior.

Idk why but the New Edge SN95 has really grown on me. The S197 is still my thrid least favorite Mustang. Right after the early 70s and Mustang II

I have no idea I’ve never seen one that color either, but I like it.
I’m not finding anything resembling it either, must be custom, which would be a PITA if you ever needed a touch up.

I just was never a fan. Ford went from the “muscular” pony car that was the fox body (disclosure: bought a 93 GT vert because I hated the 94s) to what I called the Ford Celica. Now, there’s nothing wrong with a Celica, but we already had one of those and Toyota’s was better! The S-197s got back to the right side of the fence IMO, but I think the post-facelift ones are just better looking (disclosure: bought a 14 RS3 because I wasn’t a huge fan of the S550 originally). I do agree with you that the Mustang II (owned 2 of these POSs in high school) and the 71-73 Mustangs are horrible. Frankly, I’m not a big fan of the early fox bodies either.

Yeah, it’s not even a Volvo color (close, but doesn’t seem quite right) as they had a turquoise in 2007 for the sedans and hatches.

Oh yeah I’ve seen a C3o close to that color

Eh. They can look decent in the sunlight, but under any other lighting conditions it is basically as dingy looking as it can possibly get short of being a white dump truck.
It’s why teal was essentially stopped after the ‘90s.
